ESG is new to many companies including Bursa-listed companies, as it adds a very different dimension to the conventional business management and governance framework familiar to the board members. The scope of ESG has been expanding from time to time, keeping track of the ESG issues evolving globally and connecting to the businesses in Malaysia is the key success factor in our ESG strategic advisory services we offered.
To date, we have worked with more than a dozen of Bursa-listed companies in Malaysia on their ESG journey, many of which had progressed along successfully with clear understanding of ESG issues material to their organizations and had been able to leverage on ESG material to their business and turning into business opportunities in their transitions towards low carbon or ESG-aligned business model.
